Mary Lee: What is a wedding?

It is a public affirmation of a very private decision between two people who are in love. They have not entered in to this lightly. Together, Beth and Stan have shared their thoughts, their desires – their hopes – their fears –  and they have agreed to share their lives   –  and all that entails. They are  committed to each other.
