Intro to Ring Exchange

Mary Lee:

Wedding rings are a symbol of an everlasting love. Beth and Stan’s rings are gold with diamonds.

The circle of the ring is unending and the precious metal gold symbolizes honor, stability and strength of will.

The word diamond is from the Greek Adamos, meaning unconquerable. These rings represent the love that Beth and Stan share: enduring and priceless.

Those of you here today who have exchanged rings with someone you love, this is a time to look at those precious symbols with the same wonder as the day you gave them to each other.  This is a time to reaffirm the promises you made to each other.   

Stan and Beth, whenever you look at the ring on your hand and the ring on your beloved’s hand, may it forever remind you of the promises you have made this day to share a love that is pure and everlasting.
